Ingredients / Shopping List
  • Lettuce leaves
  • peppers - yellow/orange diced
  • mushrooms
  • cherry tomatoes
  • green onion
  • Parsely - chopped fresh
Olive Oil Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon wine vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and Pepper
Instructions

  1. Rip several leaves of cleaned lettuce leaves into bite sizes and place in a bowl
  2. Wash and cut the yellow and orange peppers into bite sizes and add to the lettuce in the bowl
  3. Clean and cut the celery into bite sizes and put the pieces into the bowl
  4. Wash the cherry tomatoes and add to the bowl
  5. Clean the green onion and cut off the roots - using the scissors cut the green onion unto small pieces into the bowl.
  6. Clean and cut the mushroom into strips and add to the bowl
  7. Clean and using the scissor cut some parsley over the contents of the bowl
Making the Olive Oil Dressing
  1. Measure 3 tablespoons/45 ml of olive oil into a jar
  2. Measure 1 tablespoon/15 ml of vinegar into the jar
  3. Measure 1 teaspoon/5 ml of Dijon mustard into the jar
  4. Place the top on the jar and shake the ingredients together
Pour just enough of the dressing over the salad to lightly coat the contents of the bowl and serve.
