  • 1 cup rolled oats/oatmeal
  • 1 cup water
  • pint salt
  • milk

  1. Pour 1 cup/250 ml of water into the pot and turn the heat on high
  2. Add a pinch of salt to the water
  3. Add 1 cup/250 ml of rolled oatsStir the contents of the pot until the water has been absorbed into the oats
  4. Turn off the heat
  5. Pour the porridge into a bowl
  6. Heat some milk in the microwave and add to the porridge
