- Bread – 2 slices of your choice
- Butter
- Fresh Tomato
- Fresh Tomato

Instructions
Recipe for Toasted Tomato Sandwich
- Wash the tomato well with water.
- Slice the tomato cross wise into several pieces
- Toast two slices of bread in the toaster.
- When the bread is toasted spread one slice with butter and the other slice with mayonnaise. (Spread the butter and mayonnaise right to the edges of the bread.)
- Arrange the slices of tomato on one slice of bread.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the other slice on top and cut in half or into quarters and serve.
Serve the Toasted Tomato Sandwich with:Pickle, olives, carrots, celery, horseradish or a salad.
